Heart
Heart is the official eighth studio album by the American rock band Heart, released by Capitol Records on June 21, 1985. This album marked the turning point for the band, as they expanded into mainstream rock, which garnered them their greatest financial success.
Heart, the band’s debut album for Capitol Records, was recorded between January and April 1985 at Record Plant in Los Angeles. It became their sole album to top the US Billboard 200 chart, highlighting its importance. The album was finally certified quintuple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), in stark contrast to the band’s previous two releases, Private Audition and Passionworks, both of which remain uncertified.
