Their first album for released in 1969 titled “In the Court of the Crimson King” widely regarded as one of the greatest pieces in progressive rock subgenre, which incorporates elements of both classical and jazz fusion as well as experimenting. However, different band members over the years have made changes bringing Robert Fripp, the guitarist, as the leading figure in the band through the decades. King Crimson is still known for its highly layered compositions and arrangements with most of them being instrumentals that showcase musicians’ skill. The bands like “Larks’ Tongues in Aspic” and their “Red“ album offered a new listening experience and immediacy to the rock music, which made fans. They were especially known for being a very energetic band and for the quality of music they produced on stage.
