Third World

Third World is a longest lived Jamaican reggae band known for their unique fusion of reggae with soul, funk, and disco. Formed in 1973, the band quickly gained international fame with their distinctive sound and positive, uplifting lyrics. Their career took off with the release of the album “96° in the Shade,” featuring the hit title track that remains a reggae classic. They achieved further success with “Journey to Addis,” which included their popular cover of “Now That We Found Love,” a global hit.
